Security Officers:
Mantis Strategic Defense is the Top Training Security Company in Southern Oregon. We offer specific classes for those pursuing a career in Unarmed or Armed Security here in the state of Oregon. The classes we provide consist of 24-hour and 14-hour courses mandated by the state presented over a 3-day and 2-day period depending on your Unarmed or Armed certifications. Our classes start at 8:30am and are held every month. These courses consist of classroom learning style while Armed Security will incorporate a range day with live fire training and 8 hours of learning for those basic handgun users.
Once you obtain these certifications you will need to maintain your certifications. Our company offers refresher classes monthly for Unarmed biannually and Armed annually. Our Armed annual yearly qualifications will be held on the range followed by a written exam. So, depending on your certifications you can find our courses in our class signups.
Unarmed and Armed Refresher courses are 4 hours, don’t forget you are able to take a refresher course 180 days out prior to your expiration of your certifications. Unarmed Refreshers are priced at $75.00, while Armed Refreshers are priced at $150 (including range fee).
